The iPoker game allows either a 2D or 3D version of the
games to be played, with the 3D option having actual characters
who change expression during the course of the game. The
software also has tournaments for players who want to enter
at that kind of competitive level- including one on one
options, private games which players can organise with their
friends, multi-table tournaments, a knockout version and
an add-on/rebuy version.
Playtech is one of the newer software providers in the
online gambling market. Based in the Netherlands it is developing
a strong reputation for the advanced technology they use,
as well as the good speeds for downloading their products.
Prior to iPoker, their most recent launch was a new blackjack
game, which introduced the function of playing two hands
simultaneously, and allowing a player to swap cards from
one hand to the other if they feel it is advantageous to
do so. They already provide software for a whole range of
casino games, encompassing all of the traditional table
and video games.
