UltimateBet.com has announced that last week's charity online poker tournament has raised a tidy sum for the Thoroughbred Rehabilitation Centre in Lancashire. Each player who participated in the event paid a $20 USD buy in, with half of the $20 donated to the charity and the other half going into the prize pool. The TRC finds permanent and foster homes for thoroughbreds that have been injured or retired from racing.
