Let
it Ride Introduction | How
to Play Let it Ride | Let
it Ride Strategy | The
Bonus Game
The object of the game is to make a good five-card poker
hand with your three cards and the two community cards.
When playing Let it Ride, you have to know when you have
a winning hand. That might sound easy (all you need is a
pair of 10s), but it becomes important when you are deciding
whether to leave your remaining two bets or to draw them
back.
When analyzing your first three cards, take back your bet
unless you hold:
a) A pair of 10s or better
b) Three of a kind
c) Three to a flush, with one high card (10 or better)
d) Three cards to a straight flush
e) Three to a royal flush
On your fourth card, take back a bet unless you have:
a) A pair of 10s or better
b) Two pair
c) Three of a kind
d) A four-card flush
e) An open-ended straight, including a 10 or higher
f) Four-card straight flush
g) Four-card royal flush
h) Four of a kind
Patience is the key to this game. You might get hand after
hand without winning. But unlike regular five-card stud,
you'll get a bonus when you finally get that powerhouse
hand. If you use the above strategies, you'll be able to
stay in the game for a longer period of time, which will
enable you to get that good hand in due course. So don't
think about ace-high hands or stay with a small pair, hoping
for another match or another pair. Instead, stick to a good,
sound, proven strategy. Familiarize yourself with the odds
for obtaining a good hand. The chard opposite, "Ranking
hands and odds of drawing it," will give you some idea
of how often a specific hand will appear.
