Number of players: 2-12

Initial Deal: One card down, one card up to each player.

The Play: Betting begins after the deal. The highest (showing) hand starts the betting. After the betting, each player is dealt one additional card face up. This is followed by more betting, and then more cards face up, for a total of four face-up cards and one face-down card, with a round of betting after each deal.

Strategy: Stay in the round if you hold the following hands:

• Any pair in the hole
• Any three of a kind
• Any three to a straight flush
• Three high cards to a flush
• A pair of kinds or aces in the hole
• A pair of aces or kings including one face up
• Queen or jacks in the hole
• A three-card flush
• Three high cards to a straight
• Jacks or queens including one showing

* Cards are dealt face down and remain unseen by the other players are said to be "in the hole".

Showdown: This occurs after the last round of betting.
