name comes from the Italian word baccarat, which means zero,
the value assigned to all 10s and court cards in the baccarat

Strategies
Keno: A lottery game
invented thousands of years ago in China. It was brought
to the United States when the Chinese came to build the
railroads in the 1800s. Originally the game had 80 different
Chinese characters. These were later changed to the Arabic
numbers after the Americans adopted the game for their use.
Bingo: It has been
recorded that Italians first played bingo in the 18th century.
In England at the beginning of the 2oth century, it was
known as a house. Americans adopted the French
word quine called the game keno. Today's
players call out "bingo" when the correct
lines are completed.
Wheel of Fortune:
One of the oldest carnival games around that has
a large house advantage. A very simple game and losing game
for the player.
