To help with learning blackjack basic strategy and card counting, create special plus and minus decks. For the first deck add 4 small cards, 4 extra aces, 4 extra neutral cards and remove 12 high cards. This special deck will result in a plus 16 with 52 cards and allow you to get more small and soft hands requiring you to hit more often. This should help with large count numbers and more unusual basic strategy moves. The cards removed from the first deck should be placed in the second deck. This will result in a large negative minus 16 deck that should be used to practice basic strategy and card counting.
