| When a new deck of playing cards is brought
into a game of blackjack, the blackjack players are at a big
disadvantage. The reason for this is that new cards come in
a predetermined order from the factory. For example, the card
arrangement will be ace through king, king through ace and
so on through the four suits. This will cause the cards to
club up with 10's in one part of the deck and low cards in
another part, at least in the beginning of play after the
first shuffle. Wait to play 15 minutes in a single-deck game
and at least 40 minutes against the shoe. Consider this a
chance to go to the restroom, and be sure to take your time.
This wait will allow the cards to spread out into a normal
random order, what a skilled player desires. |
